DAY 1
Arrival in Bogotá

Upon arrival in Bogotá, perched at 8,500 feet (2,600 metres) above sea level in the heart of the Andes, a private driver welcomes you at the airport and escorts you to your hotel.

After settling in, take time to absorb the singular atmosphere of Colombia’s capital: a vibrant city where Andean traditions, contemporary art, and urban life blend effortlessly together.

DAY 2
Bogotá, an Open-Air Gallery

This morning, discover Bogotá by bike alongside a local graffiti artist.

Between red-brick buildings, concrete facades, and large-scale murals, the city reveals itself through street art. The works reflect Colombia’s recent history, its tensions, hopes, and cultural transformations, as the route winds through neighborhoods where creativity shapes the rhythm of daily life.

DAY 3
Into the Amazon

Flight to Leticia, gateway to the Colombian Amazon.

From the port, a motorized canoe carries you upriver toward your eco-lodge, accessible only by water.

After nightfall, set out on your first jungle walk alongside an Indigenous guide and guardian of ancestral knowledge. Beneath the dense canopy, the rainforest comes alive with the sounds of insects, frogs, owls, and nocturnal monkeys, while night-blooming plants and phosphorescent fungi emerge from the darkness.

In the Amazon, the jungle never truly sleeps.

DAY 4
Between Indigenous Village & Flooded Jungle

In the morning, meet the residents of a nearby Indigenous village. Through shared conversations, daily life along the Amazon gradually unfolds — shaped by the river, the jungle, and traditions passed down through generations.

In the afternoon, continue into the natural reserve. The trail winds through dense rainforest, where birds, monkeys, and small mammals can be found. Along the way, discover the remarkable adaptations of plants and insects, medicinal uses of the forest, and stories tied to Amazonian myths and beliefs.

DAY 5
Living Jungle & Ancestral Knowledge

This morning, navigate along the Peruvian side of the Amazon. A guided jungle walk offers opportunities to spot birds, sloths, and elusive rainforest wildlife. During high-water season, exploration continues by canoe through flooded forest corridors.

In the afternoon, spend time with a traditional healer from the Cocama community. Within a garden cultivated following ancestral practices, he shares agricultural techniques and medicinal plant knowledge passed down through generations.

Here, the jungle is so much more than a landscape; it’s a place where memory, medicine, and a way of life are woven together.

DAY 6
Life Along the River

The day begins on the Amazon with an introduction to piranha fishing, a practice deeply rooted in river life. By kayak or canoe, fishing lines drift across dark waters bordered by dense vegetation.

After nightfall, venture back onto the river by canoe.

In the darkness, fireflies flicker through the forest, frogs punctuate the night, and the star-filled sky reflects on the calm waters of the Amazon.

DAY 7
Medellín, the City of Eternal Spring

Transfer to Leticia airport for your flight to Medellín, set within a verdant valley surrounded by the Andes.

Once defined by a complex past, Medellín has reinvented itself as one of Latin America’s most dynamic and forward-thinking cities. Contemporary architecture, innovative urban projects, lush public spaces, and a flourishing creative scene give the city an energy that feels both vibrant and deeply human.

Upon arrival, settle in and begin discovering the atmosphere of the City of Eternal Spring.

DAY 8
Medellín & Comuna 13

Accompanied by your guide, the day begins in the heart of Medellín, where historic streets, local markets, and lively plazas offer a glimpse into the city’s daily rhythm.

You then board Medellín’s iconic cable cars, gliding above the valley and surrounding hillsides before reaching Arví Park, a vast natural reserve on the edge of the city where forest trails and cooler mountain air offer a change of pace.

Later, continue to Comuna 13. Once shaped by years of violence, the neighborhood has become one of Medellín’s most powerful symbols of transformation. Murals cover the walls, music spills into the streets, and escalators weave through steep alleyways as local artists, dancers, and musicians bring a renewed energy to the community.

DAY 9
Medellín at Leisure

Today unfolds at your own pace in Medellín, leaving space to experience the city’s rhythm and atmosphere.

Tree-lined neighborhoods, lively cafés, and vibrant plazas gradually reveal themselves through slow exploration and spontaneous moments.

DAY 10
Colombia’s Pacific Coast

Flight to Nuquí, on Colombia’s remote Pacific coast.

From the airport, a motorized canoe traces the shoreline past black-sand beaches fringed by palm trees and tropical rainforest. Along the way, the coast reveals an untouched landscape where jungle and ocean merge seamlessly.

Arrival and check-in at an eco-lodge overlooking the Pacific, lulled by the steady rhythm of the waves.

DAY 11
Pacific Whales

Each year, between July and October, humpback whales migrate to these warm waters to give birth.

During a boat excursion, you may witness powerful breaches, fins striking the surface, or calves swimming alongside their mothers.

With a bit of luck, hydrophones also allow you to listen to their underwater songs — deep vibrations resonating through the ocean.

DAY 12
The Breath of the Ocean

Another excursion at sea to encounter these giants of the Pacific.

Every sighting feels different: sometimes a silhouette appears on the horizon, sometimes a misty blow cuts through the rain, sometimes a breach suddenly breaks the silence of the ocean.

Between sea, jungle, and tropical rain, time itself seems to slow down.

DAY 13
Cartagena de Indias

Return to Medellín before flying onward to Cartagena on the Caribbean coast.

Behind its historic walls, colorful streets, bougainvillea-filled balconies, and shaded patios reveal the city’s timeless charm.

Check in and begin exploring this enchanting Caribbean city.

DAY 14
La Boquilla & the Fishermen

North of the city, the fishing village of La Boquilla stretches between mangroves and the sea.

Alongside local fishermen, prepare nets and crab traps before heading out onto the lagoon. These gestures and traditions have been passed down through generations.

Later, share a simple meal around the day’s catch before taking some time to rest.

DAY 15
Cartagena Through Its Flavors

In Cartagena’s streets, street food tells the story of the city itself.

Empanadas, golden arepas, crispy carimañolas, and stuffed potatoes are sampled from one plaza to the next. Fresh juices made from lulo, passionfruit, or corozo accompany these bites along the way.

Each specialty reflects the African, Spanish, Arab, and Caribbean influences that have shaped the city’s culture.
