DAY 1
Arrival in Bogotá
Upon arrival in Bogotá — perched at 8,500 feet (2,600 meters) above sea level in the heart of the Andes — you are greeted by your private driver and escorted to your hotel.
After settling in, take a moment to absorb the city’s singular energy: a dynamic capital where Andean heritage, contemporary art, and urban sophistication come together with effortless ease.

DAY 2
Bogotá: History & Art
Explore the colorful streets of La Candelaria, Bogotá’s historic heart, with a private guide. Colonial homes, lively plazas, and richly textured façades reveal the story of the city’s origins. Continue to the Gold Museum, home to one of the world’s most extraordinary collections of pre-Columbian goldwork, followed by the Botero Museum, where works by Colombia’s most celebrated artist are displayed alongside pieces by renowned international masters.
DAY 3
Into the Coffee Region
A short flight brings you to Pereira, where your journey continues by road into the lush hills of Quindío, en route to the charming village of Salento.
As you travel, the landscape gradually transforms — rolling coffee plantations, misty valleys, and verdant mountains unfold, revealing the agricultural soul of the Colombian Andes. Here, life slows to the rhythm of the land.

DAY 4
Cocora Valley
Today, set out on a guided walk through the Cocora Valley. Towering above the pastures and cloud forests, the Quindío wax palms — among the tallest in the world — rise through the mist with striking, almost otherworldly elegance.
The trail leads into a nature reserve, home to vibrant hummingbirds, before looping back along a quieter forest path.
In the afternoon, enjoy time in Salento, where colorful façades, wooden balconies, and lively streets create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
DAY 5
Coffee and Andean Villages
Your day begins aboard a Willys jeep, the iconic vehicle of Colombia’s Coffee Region. At a family-run finca, discover the journey from ripe coffee cherry to roasted bean, culminating in a tasting of freshly brewed coffee. Around you, cacao, mango, and avocado trees thrive, creating a rich, living agricultural landscape.
Later, visit the picturesque village of Filandia. Amid its colorful homes and vibrant plazas, step into a traditional weaving workshop where age-old techniques are still passed down through generations.

DAY 6
Toward the Caribbean
Fly to Santa Marta, where the Caribbean Sea meets the soaring peaks of the Sierra Nevada. From here, travel along the coastline, where jungle-clad mountains, rivers, and the sea converge in striking harmony.
Your first glimpses of the Caribbean horizon mark a shift in both landscape and pace.
DAY 7
Tayrona at Dawn
Set out early to enter Tayrona National Park as the jungle awakens. The calls of howler monkeys echo through the trees, birds sweep across the canopy, and soft morning light filters through dense foliage.
The trail winds through tropical vegetation before opening onto pristine beaches framed by smooth boulders and coconut palms. At its end lies Cabo San Juan, a dramatic headland extending into the Caribbean Sea.

DAY 8
An Indigenous Encounter
Today offers a meaningful encounter with an Indigenous community living on the lower slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Begin at a cacao plantation cultivated using traditional methods, where cacao trees, banana plants, and other crops grow side by side.
Continue to the village, where the mamo — the community’s spiritual leader — shares insights into their worldview, beliefs, daily life, and deep connection to nature. Along the way, you may even learn a few words of their language.
In the afternoon, a gentle walk leads to a sacred lagoon nestled between jungle and sea.
DAY 9
The Road to Cartagena
Journey onward to Cartagena de Indias, the crown jewel of Colombia’s Caribbean coast. The drive follows the shoreline before arriving at the historic walled city.
Within its ramparts, cobblestone streets, vibrant homes, and flower-draped balconies reflect the layered influences of the Caribbean. Check in and begin exploring this city of timeless allure.

DAY 10
Cartagena on Foot
This morning, discover Cartagena’s historic center on foot. As you wander past grand cathedrals, shaded plazas, and colonial mansions, stories of pirates, merchants, and conquistadors come to life.
Continue along the ramparts, where sweeping views open onto the Caribbean — the same horizon that has drawn travelers here for centuries.
DAY 11
The history of Salsa told
through the piano
In a private home in the Getsemaní neighborhood, a pianist brings the story of salsa to life. Through live performance and personal anecdotes, he traces its evolution — from Cuban son to New York’s vibrant music scene, and ultimately to its deep roots in Colombia. Afro-Caribbean rhythms, cumbia, and mapalé weave seamlessly throughout the experience.
