Hiking in the Cocora Valley and the village of Salento
Private - 8h
Hiking in the Cocora Valley, birthplace of the palma de cera del Quindío, the national tree of Colombia. These palm trees, among the tallest in the world at 70 meters, dominate the landscape .
Walking to a nature reserve, we pass by a refuge for hummingbirds and a green forest where the shade of palm trees mixes with the mystical mist. The cows graze quietly, and the steep slopes of the Cordillera appear on the horizon. The return via a lightly traveled forest path offers total immersion in this unique landscape.
Finally, we visit the picturesque village of Salento, typical of the coffee region.
